Clean gently

Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or dry cloth. Where suitable for the material, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach and abrasive scrubbing.

Dry naturally

Allow footwear to air-dry in a shaded, well-ventilated place. Avoid direct heat, tumble dryers and prolonged strong sunlight. Do not machine-wash unless the manufacturer’s instructions expressly allow it.

Store thoughtfully

Keep footwear dry before storing. Avoid crushing shoes or leaving them in damp, enclosed spaces for long periods. Give regularly worn pairs time to air between uses.

Use the right pair for the activity

Choose footwear suited to your activity and the surface. Check soles and fastenings for wear, and replace footwear when it no longer provides a secure fit.
